...just so it proves that they were wrong. I would rather have everyone die in the end than to see them win. Incredible movie.
That said, I don't like the mid credit scene. It's too ridiculous and unecessary. Also, it undermines the fact that Peter's algorythm was wrong that stated Dr.Randall will die alone. However, it then shows that it's actually correct at predicting how the President will die.
I thought it was funny. Ridiculous yes, but still made me laugh.

My ending would be that Peter actually went to the toilet. And then when President Orlean asked him where the spaceship is, Peter will begin his speech about how he's the next evolution of human race bla bla bla planets, higher existence, nano-tech, multi dimensional universe, so on and so on... President Orlean would be like oh fuck.
Someone made a good point that the algorithm only goes back to 1996, after his wife cheated on him. If it included that history, it would have shown her forgiving him back, and that he wouldn't die alone.
