Since the Far Right and Far Left are stuck in there own realities with cable new being there holy echo chambers. Nothing get done anymore. So something like this would probably happen. With people (mostly republicans, sorry but it’s true) acting like nothings is happening until the comet hit. Because everything needs to politicize by right of left.
