the 1996 films shows like 2 steps in the garage, and here is a full flight..
why? because no one cares about details

In this movie they were in the basement, not the garage.

Hmmm, guess I didn't catch that if that's the case. Would have to go back and compare the two movies.

No they didn't. They entered through the door that Stu retrieves Sidney's Dad from. The door to the garage in the real house is in the laundry room.

why are you having a hard time about this? its been over 20 years, new homeowners, this happens in real life. people can update and change a home.

my parents did 4 years (when i started college and graduated)

do you guys not go outside and live life?
