You think they're swerving us with the trailer?

Making us think this is yet another Scream sequel where Sidney's back and Ghostface is killing again, maybe the trailer is the movie they're making within the movie. And the actual movie is the actors from the Scream series is being stalked by a real killer while they're filming a new Scream movie.

They go the full on meta route like Wes Craven's New Nightmare, i can just picture the opening being Jenna Ortega's death, and right as the killer goes to stab her the director yells "CUT!". It would definitely be a really unique opening and would be one that shock the hell outta everyone.

Cause it was rumored a while back that Skeet Ulric and everyone from the original was coming back, and this is the only way that could happen, plus it just being called "Scream" would make more sense if this was the movie.

Um..that can only work if the ghost face killer can't be killed & the mask can't come off.

Honestly, I think it's possible. I hope they don't go that route.

I don't think so because if you notice Judy Hicks is in it and clearly still a cop when she's flooring it down the street with the police cruiser. Also, if it was a movie within a movie then why are all the actors calling each other by their character's name in the trailers?
