Im not saying it's true for him, but i have met a few guys over the years that fit what he's saying.
I also dont at all support his comment.
I support woman. I also support logical and rational people of all colors, shapes, sizes and gender. I dont hate on Queen Latifah though. Except the part that she accepted the role. She should've known herself she wouldn't fit the bill. She didn't cast herself to the role though, just didn't use logic or rational when accepting
I really like Queen Latifah, always have. I think she has natural charisma and a comedic bent that makes her likeable. I don't think she's suited for this, unless it's a completely terrible show made to appeal to people who probably wouldn't like the original series.
Shhh. You just made an intelligent comment. What’s wrong with you? You don’t belong here! This is for subs with toothpick arms who cream at the thought of a dom woman giving them pain.
By the way, the phrase “natural charisma” is a redundancy. All charisma is natural. Smarm and manipulation are calculated. Yes. I am putting you down. You have terrible taste and logic. A sow is not fit (pun definitely intended) to be an action star—even though all the mom’s basement-dwelling fat fucks will identify themselves with him/her/them/it.
This is why streaming services are crushing network tv in terms of quality.Snowflake millennial fanatics are so busy supporting genders, races and sexuality's that they've lowered their standards for quality to the point that they'll pretty much eat any crap thrown their way so long as it has breasts or the right skin pigmentation.
"Snowflake millenials"? Uh, no, people are simply watching shows these days they can relate too that aren't about just white men being the only heroes any more---ain't a damn thing wrong with that. TV shows change with the times like anything else, and that's what you right-wing whiners pissed off at anything that isn't about white people or dosen't have white men dominating everything. Just stfu, please. While you whiny dried-up old-a** right-wing nuts are steady bitching about anything you don't like as "woke", when you don't even know what the term means----the show is already well into its second or third season because it's that damn good. Of course you wouldn't know because you right-wing whiners are too arrogant to watch anything that isn't about you, anyway.
I really don't know how you got all those shallow dumb assumptions about me from my post but ok. Even though i'm not a fan of it my main reason for not liking the show doesn't have anything to do with race/gender washing the character. I happened to love Denzel in the part. Queen Latifa on the other hand is a great singer but she's not in the same league as Denzel and Woodward as an actor. Really bad casting. Also unlike the original series and the Denzel films the new show is too much of a toned down formulaic family drama for my taste.
I find it watchable. It's no stupider than most action series. I like the cast and the episodic weekly stories are OK. Also they haven't started some convoluted back story or conspiracy or multi-strand story lines that takes a series to unwind - which is something that usually annoys me.
My one quibble is she keeps saying something like " ... use my special powers to ...", they are not powers, they are skills.
