Why does she try so hard to appear hardcore in all of her recent movies. Why is she cast as that?

Yeah, I wasn't impressed. She didn't pull of the "hard" attitude very good.

I thought she looked badass... Just because I know her as a beautiful, glamourous movie-star, didn't spoil it for me.
