Snyderites IMMEDIATELY "judge" that Superman and Lois "will go woke". Hmmm!

After listening to these loudmouths go around sneering for the last EIGHT YEARS about how "you can't JUDGE something until you've actually SEEN it, troll!" (and hypocritically REFUSING to apologize after the films came out and people's predictions about WHY would suck were PROVEN right), I see the Snyderites have now flip-flopped 180o degrees in the other direction, and are now perfectly content to "judge" something not ONLY before its been released, but AFTER its been released -- and to go around stating with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that it will "go woke" several years in advance.

Bear in mind these are these the SAME fanboys who absolutely balked at ANYONE who questioned the casting of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. "You CAN'T judge him until you've actually SEEN him in play the role!!" blah blah blah, they repeated ad nauseam back in 2015 (actually, they had ALREADY "judged" Eisenberg would be awesome as Luthor and "prove the haters wrong", and even tried to photoshop him as a menacing, bald, badass Lex to "prove" their point over a year BEFORE the movie was released... you can still find images of this desperate Snyderite tactic on the internet now!) In any case, they stood on the "principle" that it was absolutely wrong to criticize something prior to its release.

Now, these pathetic fanboys HAVE a Superman and Lois which everyone had ALREADY "seen" and the overwhelming consensus is people have "judged" the episodes are great, so what tactic do they pull out now? They simply move the goalposts forward and "judge" several seasons in ADVANCE that the show WILL become infested with SJW propaganda about 2-3 years down the road. Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot, and Snyder critics announced in advance that a film project Snyder will direct for a 2025 release date is "going" to do something wrong. Like Snyder announced tomorrow he is planning a "300 III" several years down the road but doesn't even have a script yet, and people start bashing the film by assuring everyone IN ADVANCE that it will suck so bad that Lena Headey will refuse to appear in it and will get replaced by Lindsay Lohan. The Snyderites would go ballistic at that "smear". Yet its fine and dandy for THEM to dismiss Superman and Lois by assuring everyone that the show will be filled with virtue signaling by season 3, and hint the show will randomly turn characters LGBTQ and promote the Biden administration's agenda.

This is nothing new for the Snyderites, in fact flip-flopping overnight on their "principles" seem to be typical behavior of them since MOS was released back in 2013. I remember them demonizing anyone who pointed on MOS underperformed so WB wasn't giving it a sequel and was instead doing a spinoff movie with Batman fighting Superman. They went around sneering "it picks up where MOS left off. How is that NOT a sequel? Only trolls and haters would deny that MOS is getting a sequel and the haters have lost!" Then, after BvS was released and failed, they now ADMIT there is no "MOS sequel" and they are demanding WB backtrack and give them an actual "MOS 2". Same thing back in 2013 when MOS was first released and they went around declaring how Henry Cavill was "this generation's Superman" and went around sneering "only trolls and haters would deny he was Superman in this movie. He may not be YOUR Superman, but he's gonna Superman to a lot of kids growing up now!". Then, after MOS underperformed and people still preferred Reeve as Superman and turned to other Superman actors, they flip-flopped overnight and starting using the excuse "this is an ORIGIN film. You can't judge Cavill as Superman because he WASN'T Superman yet. He won't be Superman UNTIL the sequel!".

Pathetic Snyderites.

If it weren't for double standards, they'd have no standards at all.

The Snyder Cult are idiots, but CW's track record for baiting and switching to woketardation is undeniable.

That's true, but its not inevitable. For example, I was crestfallen when I found that Jon Stewart's former head writer at The Daily Show was in charge of the MST3K revival. THAT guy is such a nasty outspoken SJW who turned the Daily Show from an apolitical parody of the nightly news into a soap box for virtue signaling that I was 100% certain it wasn't a matter of IF the new MST3K would "go woke", but WHEN it would.

Still, by all accounts, the MST3K revival was harmless fluff and NEVER "Went woke" (though I could make a good case that it cancelled before that scumbag was able to start injecting his politics into the character's dialogue, since the new MST3K only lasted two seasons).

Furthermore, an individual SJW "in charge" of something is different than a network. By all accounts, the people who WANTED Superman and Lois to go woke were promptly fired and kicked off the show.

reply

Well, this is the way.

All CW shows had become woke even when they didn't start that way. So ... the chances to become woke is way higher than not.

If if becomes woke would you agree to delete your account and never post here? :D

PS: you seem to be at least as fanatical as the snyder cult :P

All films that David S. Goyer had complete "creative control" over the writing process inevitably turned out to be garbage, too. That didn't stop the Snyderites from LOUDLY cheering on Batman vs. Superman every step of the way, and all the other garbage he foisted on us in the Snyderverse.

When THEY apologize for lashing out at anyone who ACCURATELY warned that Batman v. Superman would be WORSE than Man of Steel, I will GLADLY do the same whenever I predict something wrong.

Sorry, its a two way street.

reply

Having complete control doesn't necessarily would mean a better film, I don't think Snyder staying on would mean great films, he planned to have Injustice like Superman for the rest of the DCEU.

reply

BTW, the Snyderites mocked me and demanded I "delete my account" on IMDB after I said that MOS was such a polarizing disappointment that it would never get a sequel. They cited Batman v. Superman's release back in 2016 as "proof" my prediction had been "proven wrong" and that it showed what a fool I was to doubt MOS's "huge success"

Now, FIVE YEARS LATER, they sheepishly admit that Batman v. Superman was NOT "the sequel" to MOS, and that Man of Steel 2 is STILL on "indefinite hold", and WB won't give Cavill another solo Superman film (which they keep begging WB for anyway, in vain), just as I predicted WAY back in 2014.

So not only do Snyderites refuse to admit when they are wrong, they actively engage in history revisionism and falsely accuse others of being "wrong".

So far the ONLY thing I've actually been "proven wrong" on was predicting MOS and JL would be nominated for Razzies. And I gladly admitted I was wrong that ONE time.

Okay a couple of things:

1: You are absolutely not wrong at all about everything you've said about Man of Steel. That movie was a lot of wasted potential. I have a love/hate relationship with that film and a lot of it had to do with HOW they portrayed Superman, less like Captain America and more like an emo-dickhead.

2: Everyone who thinks Superman and Lois got off to a great start but will eventually become woke is not wrong. 100% of CW's non-woke shows went woke.

Heck, even the new Walker: Texas Ranger on CW went woke before it even aired, with Walker's brother being turned into a gay Conservative (ROFL talk about an oxy-moron).

I have no hope at all for Superman and Lois. There are a couple of things I expect to happen to signify its wokeness:

1: One of Clark's sons is turned gay and has powers. They'll use his budding powers and gayness as a means of killing two birds with one stone.

2: One of the lead female characters will be turned into a lesbian, this is an easy-in for CW with their wokeness. They did it with Supergirl, turning his sister gay, and they did it with The 100 where they turned the lead character gay in the second season. They also did it with the Black/White Canary, who started off straight and then went strictly gay in Legends of Tomorrow.

3: They'll have only straight white males as the villains, and a bunch of Hispanics and blacks as the good guys. Expect lots of anti-Conservative talking points, lots of pro-equity messages, pro open-borders sub-plots, and lots of establishment or pro-welfare inferences. And lots of interracial couples, too.

With the CW, it's not a matter of IF it will be degenerate, it's a matter of WHEN it will be degenerate.

>> They'll have only straight white males as the villains <<

That third argument doesn't even make sense because it was proven wrong in the very first episode, when "General Luther" was revealed to be a BLACK man. Not only that, the "OMG this show is gonna go woke" crowd is trying to use the fact he's black to "prove" the show is secretly SJW, which proves they don't understand how SJWs think. In the sick twisted minds of SJWs, black characters must ALWAYS be heroic, because they are the victims of systemic racism of the white establishment. Having a black guy as the villain trying to take down the white "hero" of the show is incompatible with the SJW agenda. SJWs are very selective... for example, Muslims NEED "representation" in movies and TV shows, but Mormons (which have far less adherents globally but a similar outlook of being a bizarre offshoot of Christianity that has supported polygamy and held very conservative views on women and gays) never do.

reply

Do you even watch the show?

General Luthor is NOT a villain ...

reply

They ignore facts that don't line up with what they want like Affleck could've done The Batman after his rehab stay but however he no longer enjoyed being Batman after BVS and the JL reshoots.

reply

Ill admit that so far this show is more in line with what Superman is suppose to be than Snyder Superman. But for as much as i hate Snyder Crap. I not a fan of the CW Teen Soaps. And from what ive seen, the show has enough of Teen Angst to turn me off. Ill just stick to the 90's Lois and Clark show (Teri Hatcher was hotter anyways, sorry), Superman The Animated Series or even the 1950's George Reeves Show.

Snyderites are lunatics who can't comprehend how the business works, they're nutcases who won't listen to reason, when you point out a flaw in the films they will rage at you.

Them saying he won't be classic Superman until the sequel, well the problem if the first instalment doesn't win everyone over or break box offices records they'll scrap all sequels plans, so there's no time anymore for the series to grow and improve, it means second chances are at a disadvantage. Snyder fans will go "Excuse me there've been sequels that came out many years later so what is your point?" well some quick context films like Aliens and Terminator 2 were made in the days were movies weren't made with trilogies or expanded universe teasings built into their plots each and every instalment in a franchise had to be stand alone and those sequels exist because the first films were colossal hits, difference with DCEU there wasn't any colossal hits aside from Wonder Woman or a huge demand for a sequel.
