Scrolling through the threads on here,I swear I'm on the verge of tears.This was an inspiring movie for me,and I hate seeing so many people trashing Miley.She can act,sing,and not to mention she's open and honest about her being a Christian.And her show's hilarious.

I liked her show better. But if you want to find people who loves this movie, just read the user comments on this page, there are many who liked this movie. Or go to Youtube, search Hannah Montana the Movie and then you'll find many comments about people who likes the movie - or read the reviews on Amazon.com. Just an advice. Good luck, buddy :)

True..I'm 19 straight guy and I thought it was very inspirational movie towrads the end when she sings the climb. I'm also a christian so thats why I thought the ending was very well done.
shareNo, "The Climb" was the worst part of the movie! A crappy and dreadful song that didn't only slowed down the movie, but a song that didn't just fit Miley's voice (I don't hate Miley, but she sings it awfully). I'm sick of people writing how much they love "The Climb", cause that song ruined the whole movie for me!

I liked it.
My 13 year old daughter loves it. Her 15 year old brother hates it. In his peer group it's not "cool" to like Miley Cyrus. Many of those who pan the movie act out of the same animus as my son. For them, Miley Cyrus could have duplicated the accomplishments of Orson Welles in Citizen Kane, and they still would not like her work.

I thought the film was badass, then again I am a big fan of the show as well, so I am pretty biased. It's a disney movie about Hannah Montana, so of course it's corny and campy, but the target audience will eat it up.
The ending, ***SPOILER***, where she spills the beans about her identity, was awesome. One of the best endings EVER put on celluloid, never saw that coming, and that's not being biased.
Watch it if you dig the show, skip it if you don't, pretty simple.
Let me tell you something; I was a big fan of the show and got highly dissapointed by the movie, although it wasn't directly bad.
shareI'm with you, I actually loved this movie. Surprising since I don't like Miley or Hannah Montana. But this movie seemed kind of seperate from that, I'm just viewing this as a normal movie.
It has a good (stereotypical) message but it was really entertaining so I guess people are jst voting 1 star on IMDB because they automatically hate Miley/Hannah. Don't listen to them, who cares about their opinions anyway? It won't change yours.

I'm definately not a Hannah Montana fan, i'll watch the show only if there's is nothing else to do. I don't like Hannah Montana's music and there's 2 songs of Miley's i like.
But i LOVED this movie! It was fun and had a really good story. I gave this movie 9 stars. Everyone should give this film a chance even if you don't actually like Hannah Montana because the movie wasn't like the show at all.

OP, are you serious? Hannah Montana (film and show) is cliched, shallow, unoriginal, terrible written, directed, and acted and it promotes materialism and was only really ever created so that Disney could make money off of naive little girls. Miley Cyrus is an average singer, terrible actor and a corporate Disney tool; This is the film/show/person that inspires you? I'm sorry, I know you said not to post if you didn't like the film, but I just can't stand to see young people praise things like this. The TV program and film have almost no merits. There are so many other TV shows, movies, and young actresses that are doing original, artistic, inspiring work that deserves your attention.
