This movie sucked and it's very clear without Rocky this franchise is dead. Creed should have just been Rock VII

I didn't think this movie was bad at all. Would like to have seen Rocky in it though.

Without Rocky I have no interest in this series. Still, this thing did make money- a lot of it.

This series was intended to be a black remake of Rocky, they always wanted to phase Rocky out, they just used Stallone's name and character to get their foot in the door.

Sly must be devastated that he never owned the rights to his creation. They're basically stealing his property.

Yeah. Hollyweird is run by scum.

The reality is though with the internet, they will never be able to phase out Rocky.

Also there has been seismic shift in public perception of Hollyweird as a whole. We can get our Entertaiment and information elsewhere. We don't need their movies, their actors, their news. It's all fake. They failed in brainwashing the masses, but they are still too dumb to realize that they have made themselves irrelevant.

This Creed movie made money, but the next one probably won't make as much. A lot of Stallone fans went to see this just because he was associated with the first two. the next one won't have that kind of loyalty from his fans.

As, for the scum who own the franchise... Well, they may own it, but they aren't the franchise. Stallone will be Rocky until the day he dies. The man has a legacy. The only legacy that the owners of the franchise have is a legacy of being thieves.

It should be a lesson to any filmmaker, never sign the rights away to your creation. I understand he had to do it in order for Winkler & Chartoff to finance his script for Rocky and turn it into a movie, but Stallone created the character of Apollo Creed and here they are taking his own story away from him. Must be heartbreaking.
