Adonis didn't have any character - abandoning his friend in prison
Sure, he gets an excuse when he was a kid.
But growing up, and having a fantastic career, and just forgets about him.

From the first Creed movie Adonis has sucked. If he met Rocky and was a poor fighter trying to make it it would have been much better. Instead, he lives in Apollos billion-dollar mansion and drives a million-dollar car. He's an overly privileged rich kid. How in the blue hell am I (or anyone else with half a brain) supposed to root for him when in real life most fighters come from nothing?!
shareThat was an interesting spin on the cliché of a poor fighter. On the surface, Adonis had everything, like money and a suppoting mother, but inside, he was empty - he was an illegitimate child with tough childhood, lack of purpose and not knowing his own roots, while living in the shadow of his famous father whom he doesn't even know.
