Without 'Rocky' (the one saving grace of this series) this movie (seemingly) has nothing to fall back on, but the usual 'black' tropes (thugs, ex-cons, greed, shit music, etc)
Thankfuly, with Stallone out of the picture, people can see the (largely) unlikable lead character (and likewise actor) for the coat-tail riding dullard, he clearly is?

This looks like a 'thug' rehash of elements from 'Rocky V'...and the sooner it flops, the sooner this morose, 'wannabe-spin-off-franchise' can fade into obscurity (where it belongs)

I agrees. I see first creed movie, but only to see Sly's oscar winning performances. i don't like Michael P. Jordan becuase he nothing like Carl Weather. not likable or charm like apollo at all! just mopey douches!

sly was very upset at treatment my michael cooglars and michael p. jordan. they steal his franchize and run away with it and not includes sly! what nerve these ungrateful swines have hahahah.

No Sly, no chance. He is the heart and soul of the franchise.

Especially when people get wind he was mistreated, disrespected and squeezed out. Squeezed out of the franchise he created!

irwin winker has taken rights to rocky from underneaths sly. means anyone can take sly's creations and dump all over it like the two haxxors ryan koogler & michael p jordan. sly needs to get rights back now.
