The Northman was so good just watched A More Mystical Scandnaivian Version of Gladiator still doesn't top the 2000 Historical Revenge Flick but i would choose the film after it 9/10

8/10 for me. But I think it's a tad misleading to compare with this movie to Gladiator after watching it. Not quite an action picture and more of a mood piece that is interrupted by decapitations or dismemberment.
