Such amazing dancers and I love how they share their stories on how they started ballet and how they are striving to get to the top. A must see!

Yes, it is excellent. However, most male ballet dancers (including George Balanchine himself) are straight, so it's interesting that the film's makers chose to populate the documentary, with the possible exception of the youngest boy, with effeminate gay men. I have no objection to them, but the exclusion of any straight, masculine men (or even gay, masculine men) gives a false impression of the world of ballet and perpetuates a myth to the general public who have never been in that world themselves.

I feel bad for them because of the pandemic, they have to put their ballet dreams on hold... :(

I do, too. We've all been screwed by this hysterical overreaction. Let's hope that in retrospect something is learned from this pointless, destructive panic and it's never imposed upon us again.

Completely agree with you 100%. Every one is blowing this way out proportion!! Is it really necessary to stay at home when we are healthy, close down businesses and schools, restaurants and hair salons and keep distance from loved ones and family members because of a stupid virus?!?! The whole world has gone MAD!!!!!

On another note, I really hope they come out with a second season once all this ridiculous nonsense is over....
