its laughably bad , the actors can barely deliver lines while being handsomely paid

Thats a very good question i mean i assume these movie makers and producers are not complete morons so how do they release something like this?
share*shrugs* Not morons necessarily but you hire mediocre talent, you get mediocre results. I mean, they rehired the 2 guys who wrote the script for Morbius and a director that only worked in television before. What did they expect?
sharemost be some kind of money laundry scheme. actually alot the straight to dvd movies are just like that
shareActors don't make nearly as much as they used to initially. Generally, the bulk of their pay now is based on the movies performance and they get it on the back end. Only mega stars, which this movie doesn't have, can demand a big payday just for showing up.
shareI've seen a lot of worse films. This wasn't that bad.
shareI'm not one for putting all the blame on the director but this director has done jackshit. Sporadic TV episode work. This was their first movie. They clearly weren't up to the task.
