Chippin' Dale

Just saw the show, it is incredibly macabre and rather mean spirited, so naturally I kind of like it. The segment where the couple eat the live snail and get killed from the parasites has got me frightened to eat.

So, I'll be on an upcoming episode: "Idiot starves to death after watching show and gets too frightened to eat."

Anyway, I find it hard to believe the 'Chippin' Dale' wasn't murder. That was the guy who put his legs into the wood chipper to try and force through a struck piece of wood. I have no problem believing that happened, I just can't understand why his partner didn't turn the wood chipper off. Even if he panicked, he can't be that stupid not to think of it.

If he had held his partner in by the shoulders, I would think all the evidence of force would have been chipped up. Given that there were no witnesses, he can't be charged.

I have no positive proof of this, of course, but it does seem hard to believe anything else.

Very good point.

No, I was not saying there should have been a murder charge, I was saying it could have been investigated (and maybe it was), but would have been difficult to prove because of the difficulty in finding any positive evidence.

You make a very good point that the re-enactment may have been very different from what actually occurred. I agree I used their presentation of what occurred when coming up with my accusation, and I should have been more careful.

It probably happened way to fast, I mean that was like the big daddy wood chipper, can probably turn a body out in mere seconds. That other guys traumatized for life if anything I'm sure.

Well, you gotta understand one thing. In danger, the mind panics. People don't think straight. That's basically the MAJORITY of humanity, right there! Not everybody can demonstrate grace under pressure. People might look at it and say, "Yeah, why wasn't the guy thinking?!", and laugh at him. But, it's easier to assess the situations when you aren't in it. Everything moves all too fast and hectic when it's happening to you.

I kept thinking of the movie Fargo when I watched that. Why didn't the guy turn it off instead of trying to pull him out?

I love the funny titles for each number Chippin' Dale was a funny one
