I liked it, but....[spoilers]

1) Mainly they're rescued by others, so wouldn't it have been fairly obvious how they survived? I mean, a soccer team stranded via plane crash in wilderness? Isn't cannibalism almost a cliche? Surely the authorities were bound to investigate the deaths of those that didn't come back.

2) The plane. A bit ridiculous, but not a bad concept. Yet how does it have a full tank? Surely whoever flew it there used some gas. I went back & looked. I assumed a fuel leak caught the bear on fire, but no, it was the bear. It just caught fire. If sabotaged, by whom? Misty seemed as shocked as anyone else. Was it some supernatural force that didn't want them to leave?

3) The fixer. I honestly thought she was dead from the get go & Misty just imagined talking to her. How does she stay so clean after days in captivity? No bathroom breaks? Surely she could take Misty physically, so I don't buy Misty temporarily unlocking her & keeping her under control. And why not doctor the cigarettes & put them back in her purse? Suppose she didn't want to smoke cigs that had been in the trash & decided to buy new ones ... where's Misty then?

Finally, we're shown that the girl being hunted & killed wore a heart necklace similar to Jackie's. I don't think there's any way Jackie isn't dead (yet there's precedent with Van coming back from the wolf attack), so how does fresh meat have Jackie's necklace? You'd think Shauna would naturally inherit it, but she clearly wasn't eaten.

Best thing: Melanie Lynskey

1) i assume that they aren't necessarily trying to hide that they ate other players, but that they actively killed them.
2) yes the whole plane thing was to "Lost" like. The most ridiculous thing was how they cleared out 200 yards of trees with a dull ax and not much more.
3) It looks like the fixer stayed there longer on purpose to get information. as she said she gets paid for that type of trouble.
4) I believe that the girls will start a form of lottery/lot system to determine who gets killed next and the necklace is the unlucky "lot".

I want to see what happened to Lottie. She appears to be behind the cult at the end. It looks like that Taissa and Misty know this, but not Natalie or Shauna. Maybe she took off into the woods and wasn't rescued and has made her way back.

Fair point re cannibalism vs. murder. As I recall the Uruguayans went 72 days, the girls 19 months. There's no way anyone killed in the crash or dying subsequently would sustain them that long. People had to die along the way to supply food. I suppose some might have starved & the rest eaten, but still, I just don't see what they did not being obvious to investigators.

Re the plane, in all fairness whoever landed the plane would have needed a runway of sorts, so maybe it was just a matter of clearing an already established rough runway. Still strange about the bear. Hope some clarification is in the works.

You're probably right about the fixer. She foolishly believed she was out of danger.

Good point about the necklace. I've seen in other forums it mentioned as something of a harbinger.

Yeah. Given that she wasn't mentioned at the reunion suggests no one knows exactly where she is or even if she survived.

1. Why would you expect cannibalism it is the wildness this gives many options for food source way ahead of eating each other and yes a proper investigation would of been conducted.

2. The plane being at that location makes sense and I don't see an issue with fuel it showed the man had a cabin with supplies I expect he would stock up.

I don't remember seeing them do a proper check on the plane and this could explain why the man didnt leave he had no way of doing do due to the faulty plane (Didnt the bear catch fire because the fuel had been leaking onto that seat)

3. Yes this bit is stupid

Jackie is 100% dead we saw it in that final no way coming back from that but this was poorly written a person if it was that cold would not just sleep through it.

This show is going for a supernatural vibe as well so I expect in the next season it will be something to do with her spirit.

I started to give up towards the end it was getting boring and the final for season 1 was awful.

They kind of foreshadowed a character dying that way (i.e Jackie, if she is dead) with a line in an earlier episode about "The kind of cold where dying feels like falling asleep" by, I think it was Taissa.

I just want to know..are there no fish in that lake? I would assume there are if bears are just hanging around. Seems like that would be a pretty obvious food source.

Another gripe I have is that they were all supposedly "starving", but none of them acted like that at all besides saying "I'm hungry" on occasion. They seemed to have plenty of energy to run around and argue with each other every 5 minutes. Nobody really even looked fatigued.

Very good point about starvation. Granted you can't expect the actors to lose weight given the flashbacks & forwards, but they certainly could act a bit more listless.

Travis is clean shaved all the time. Not hints of beard growing up. Considering the time they were there till the finale, it was impossible, unless he shaved offscreen. I know this is the most pointless stuff, but i found it amusing. Loved the show completely though, exactly what i wanted, it had a kid of Pretty Little Liars vibe to it in a much more hardcore way
