What's with the swearing?

I personally don't mind either way, but it just seems like a weird element to add in what used to be a pretty innocent show.

I was a bit surprised hearing characters using "bitch" as derogatory, and saying "What the dick?" for seemingly no reason.

The rebooted show seems to be aimed towards a slightly older audience.

I noticed the same thing with Cobra Kai. It adds some f-bombs and is a little more crude than the original films.

I wouldn't let little kids watch either show, but I'd let them watch the originals. The revivals seem to be aimed more at an older teenage audience.

Yeah, you're apparently right, it just seems odd. Especially with the subject matter they are setting up to address, why alienate a younger audience from learning about issues like that? I guess maybe they thought it might get too "after school special-y" and corny?

I don't know..but it just seemed strange and unnecessary.

It seems to be the successful formula for revivals that last. Some even complained about Fuller House being more risqué than the original.

The only one I'd say is on point with its original is The Conners and Roseanne.

Ever see the movie idiocracy?

As life goes on people will talk like this. Decency has dropped big time.
