Because it's propaganda showing kids that that is a totally normal thing. Just looked it up and it's 0.6% of the US population. They try everything they can to indoctrinate kids and that's obvious, I just don't know what their end goal is.

I actually don't see a problem with sexual minorities in art. The bigger issue is that the transgender character was almost certainly created as retribution for Mario Lopez's expression of skepticism towards the idea of transgender children:

This isn't sincere people just trying to find their place in the world. It's a humiliation ritual. Bend the knee or be crushed. People are right to push back against that.
Preach. Hollywood is just trying to screw up kids. It has nothing to do with goodwill.
