It started very promising and than it got VERY boring with all those "We ArE StUcK iN a MemOry" BS
I stopped at chapter 7...
Season 1 was perfect, this is just blah
I had the exact opposite Opinion
I thought it started out Slow, and Then got Incredible!
I absolutely LOVED Hill House and am a big fan of Mike Flanagan
I was very much looking forward to Bly Manor, I knew absolutely nothing about The Stories the show based on going in...
But I did notice myself in the first 3 episode at times Thinking "This is slow, Flanagan might have missed the mark here, This doesnt seem like a Horror/scary series, I think He might have tried to make the story to deep and dramatic"
But then from episodes 4 to 9...It was just incredible and Looking back now, I dont feel the first 3 episodes were in fact slow...I completely understand why those episodes were like that.
The only complaint I have about the show is, Its quite depressing....The ending was fantastic but it really brought me down, and I think the reason why the ending is so depressing is because The Actors were so Incredibly great in their roles throughout the series, Victoria is Damn good as Dani, Its just truly sucks to see how her story played out.
anyways, I loved the series
I'm currently rewatching Hill House for the first time ...
I'm pretty sure I like Hill House better than Bly Manor, But I'm rewatching to make sure
I rate the series....

Bly Manor-9/10
I watched all the episodes only because of the eye candy (Oliver/Peter), but yeah it was like watching paint dry.
