Do you think it would be more interesting if they didn't age so fast?

For example, they go to a resort for a few days and they age, say, one year per day. For the first couple of days, they just enjoy their life carefreely, until they realize their kids have grown a little.

Their attempts to leave the beach last for days, leaving much room for character development as well as for the horror the characters feel, having ample time to realize and experience the drawbacks of every stage of ageing they go through.

the movie is already a running plothole, no need to stretch it

Just imagine. This way, it could even be a series.

still better than TWD

Of course.

I'm still trying to figure out the 18 MILLION DOLLARS they spent on the film.

I know this is a so-called "small budget" film.

But there are Hallmark and Lifetime Movies that "look" better.

Any of these actors could walk up next to me (other than M Night) and I wouldn't recognize any of them.

There's a helicopter scene though...

Rufus Sewell (the doctor) is pretty recognizable to most people.

Both Rufus Sewell and Gael Garcia Bernal are popular enough that I know them both and I'm from SE Asia.

I actually recognised many of the actors and wasn't anticipating as well known (to me) a cast as that. Not that I'd be able to identify a lot of them by name mind you. The one girl was in Jojo Rabbit, the boy was in Hereditary, the main actress was in Phantom Thread, Gael Garcia, Ken Leung, and Rufus Sewel have been in a few notable films. Even the company owner guy was the sidekick in Bruno.

The cinematography and locations also looked rather nice, so I can see where the budget was spent. Shame not much else was good in the film.
