This would have been way more terrifying if the plot was reversed to growing younger instead. At the first all the older folks with health issues would start feeling better and growing stronger. Then as the younger devolve into death returning to blobs of cells, the panic and terror set in as the oldest of the group have limited time to escape. But once out, the oldest can then live their lives again, start over as Young.

I actually like the idea in Old when it is revealed what is going on... I was just annoyed with most of the characters on the beach...
I would also have preferred a darker ending where the siblings don't survive and they just welcome a new batch of test subjects at the end...
It was also stupid (and they even mention it in the movie) to mix people with mental illnesses together with people with other diseases... what good is it that some psycho kills some of your test subjects before you have seen what effect the medicine has...
Although it wouldn't be much of a movie,
..If such a place existed, there'd be ill volunteers; entire families wouldn't need to be eradicated.
I am not sure I understand what you are saying??? They could easily have ended the movie with a darker ending or what are you refering too?
shareIn real life, if there was a place, where people aged rapidly, and thereby drugs could be tested in a day, rather than in decades, many sick people would volunteer to be tested, for the good of mankind.
Thereby, families wouldn't have to be tricked into coming and dying.
So people would just volunteer to test a drug and die???
