Bioshock 2 Demo Video: 'It takes place many years after the first game.'

What?

If I remember correctly, didn't Rapture implode underwater, thus making you have to exit in a bathysphere with the little sisters? What the hell? Plus - "you are the first Big Daddy - a prototype."

I'm very confused. Chances are I will buy the game, but this is all over the place. Is this a prequel (where the Big Sister will be obliterated because she's nowhere to be found in the first game?) or is it a sequel (disregarding things that happened in the first game?) or is concurrent with the first game?

I don't like that narrator...

That is all.

Rapture didn't explode at the end of BioShock 1. Rapture was still standing regardless of what ending you had.

The game is a sequel that takes place 10 years after the first. Big Sister is a Little Sister that Tannenbaum saved but returned to Rapture and became its ruler, kidnaping little girls from the surface and turning them into Little Sisters.

You play as the first ever Big Daddy. Through ways unknown to me, you regain your own free will and are wandering about the remains of Rapture, doing your thing, killing off splicers, using plasmids, etc.(again, don't really know or remember why you can use plasmids.)

But how are you the very first Big Daddy if this takes place a decade after the first game were Big Daddies ran rampant?

Therein is where my confusion lies...

That is all.

big daddys were created before jack showed up.

it looks as if the first big daddy was taken out of buisness ( i dont know why) but is woken up by tennenbaum ( how the hell do you spell it?) so this big daddy (the first, and a prototype) could take out the big sister. just because its a sequel does not mean the first big daddy is not still in rapture

It sorta makes a bit more sense. it's just the way the narrator said it sounded really confusing "Yeah, its a sequel, but it's also at the beginning, and it's all really confusing."

So it's set a decade after Jack saved the little sisters, where a little turned big sister is stealing girls from the land and taking them down into rapture, and, as a Big Daddy, and their relationship with Tennenbaum (that's how you spell it), the prototype Big Daddy is the character you play to save them and stop the Big Sister.

Did Tennenbaum come up with me with the little sisters in the Bathysphere or did she stay in Rapture?

That is all.

I mean that it's obvious she stayed in Rapture, but why? Why not take the chance to escape that underwater hell?

it's not like you have a cinema and a shopping centre to live normally, she should be a freak by now...

That is all.

She stayed because there were still some Little Sisters behind after BioShock 1, and she felt guilty over what she caused to the people. Think of it as her atonement for her sins she preformed in Rapture.

she did leave rapture with the remaining little sisters. im guessing she returned to rapture because she linked the missing child cases to rapture. or she is talking to you from the surface. but she would not be able to use the bathosphere (because she is not related to Ryan) she would have to find another way down...

In the video, the Big Sister attacked the player at the end. I thought the Big Sister took care of anyone or anything out of the ordinary, it looked like a Big Daddy doing his job to me (or just seeing a Big Daddy using plasmids is too much?)

Then why did she attack him at the begining of the video, did she not want the Big Daddy to see her, does does she senes something in him (that he's the first so he'll rebel and/or he's working with Tenembum)?

And how long do Little Sisters stay little? She's been kidnapping for years, turning them into possibly more Big Sisters, right?

SO MANY QUESTIONS!!! (But I still can't wait to play the sequel of possibly my favourite Xbox 360 game!!!)

If we stay to course, we are dead! WE ARE ALL DEAD!!!
