Two Things (spoilers)

I love this show with all my heart, but that isn't to say it doesn't have some issues. There are a couple of problems that I want to get off my chest. I won't be talking about Ty's death, as that's a whole other topic.

1. Badger. He was such a good character, but the writers let him go. He was way better with Mallory than Jake was, but for some reason the show really wanted Mallory to end up with Jake. Badger had way more personality than Jake.

2. I hate the direction the creators went with Tim's season 5 storyline. They wanted to introduce his son but the way they handled it wasn't good. It's like they just wanted to make drama. I wish Tim's son had stuck around and it worked out between the mom (his ex-girlfriend.) It would've been great that way, seeing him as part of the family, Amy and Lou with their little brother. Then it's like they just forgot about Shane completely.

I could also complain about Scott not ending up with Lou and the whole character of Peter, but that isn't as bad. It's more understandable.
