Historic Emmy win for Best Actor and Director
I can't really tell good directing from bad directing most of the time, but I loved a lot of the shots in this show. Very Wes Anderson-y.
I really thought Gi-Hun character arc would be too goody-two-shoes to win for Best Actor, but he did it! All the truly horrifying acts were done by the other characters, whereas Gi-Hun could always stand back and be "the angel". It's so cliche drama, but I do think heroes need to make a comeback in drama series.
I'm kinda sick of all drama protagonists trying to outdo eachother in edgy-ness nowadays.
