A lot of people slurp noodles to aerate the food. Everything tastes better with aeration. I would say that belching is done all over the world.

That's not disgusting. Eating shit is disgusting. The Japanese study below shows that slurping makes ramen taste 4x better. Start slurping if you want your noodles to taste better. Guinness draught cans have a plastic widget in them that injects air into the beer to make it taste better. Also, espresso machines have a milk frother on them to make the milk taste better through aeration.

I only saw dubbed version. Is subtitled version same sound for eating, grunting, sighing, etc. All noises coming out of people seemed unnatural, so I chalked it up to dubbing actors voices.

Yes. I lived in South Korea years ago, and that's exactly how they eat especially the working class.
