I think Squid Game is very Overrated!
Is it the worst show that was ever created? Of course not! Squid Game definitely had its good parts but I have 3 main problems with the series! The Characters, The Dialogue and The Inspirations the Director apparently took from other films. shareSorry to hear that :( I was trying to be nice about it and I did post my opinion in text form, I just hinted on more details because I didn't wanna transcript an 18min long video in textform since I'd personally rather watch a video with someone talking than having to read it myself. I guess you're not that kind of guy. But you still could be nicer to other people, maybe then you're happier yourself! :)✌️

What is his point tho?? I can put 18 minutes into a text, in fact, I sometimes even put 60 minutes into text, but I am a full-time-filmmaker, I am not just TALKING about movies, I'm actually MAKING them, that's why I have my opinion on the show in video- and not text-form, it's just my main way of expressing myself. I didn't ask you to go over 18 minutes of video, I said IF you wanted to you can do that, if you don't want to it's fine, you can just scroll on and read away :) I'm not even mad about it and I can completely understand it if you guys don't care about MY opinion, but then maybe a forum where people share their OPINION isn't the right place for you :)

A forum main form of expressing ideas and opinions is ... you guessed it: TEXT.
So maybe it's not for you if you want to share your opinion in a video format.
To me it looks like you're just advertising your channel in an effort to get more views, clicks, maybe even subscribers. And there's nothing wrong with that if you are honest about it ;)
I bet that you spend more times writing these posts trying to justify your position than it would have taken to write the first post in a different manner. And maybe would have compelled me and others to actually click the link instead of whining, lol
Nah thanks, I don't need to read it again, maybe you should. I'm gonna say it one more time just for you cause it seems like you still don't get it. I DID post my opinion in TEXT form, it's right there you can look it up. YES I plugged my channel and my video for the long form of my opinion, how should I be more honest about it? Of course that's what I did, the link is right there in my comment, I literally WROTE that I made a YouTube-Video, you can't promote yourself more obvious, no need for you to think that you outsmarted me ;). But I didn't JUST spam the video without saying anything else, I REALLY told you my honest opinion and there's no need to watch the video, because I told my standpoint in the first sentence of my comment. Again: The video is JUST, I say it again so even you can understand it, JUST for people who want a deeper dive into it. I didn't make the video because I want you to see my ugly face talking but because I can show the scenes from the show in the video so people know what I'm talking about.
Yes it's taken me way too much time to answer to your posts, even though I think I didn't need to or tried to "justify" anything, I just answered you and told you where I think you are wrong. To me that just shows you that I was interested in a discussion (in Textform and here on this forum) with you guys, but looks like you're sadly just here to spread hate and be mean🤷♂️.
Now lastly I want some advice from you. How would you post a comment like this in a different manner and be "more honest"? Please tell me and don't just say "I wouldn't do such a thing", that would be too easy. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
You created an account just to plug your YT. And you only posted a logline of your opinion in text form in order to entice people to click your link
shareNah I created an account because I wanted to talk about this show and other films or series in the future, yes I am new to THIS forum and this is the first thing I posted here (because Squid Game was the first time I had a kinda negative opinion on a popular show) but after the reactions I got here I honestly wasn't that interested in interacting more with the people in this forum.
shareAww no need to be mean. Welcome to the forums new user. You'll find it rough being on here but stay strong as everyone has their own opinions. You could do it like JakeSwitch (forgot the full name) but he gives his review of shows he watches then links a blog of sort to his site for a more in-depth analysis of what he thinks. Seems you're sort of going that way but maybe give more details on why you think it's bad other than just a couple of sentences before linking your video. Have fun with your stay and try not to feel intimidated by certain folks here on the boards that mostly derive from anger and hate.

I watched some of your video, you have a nice voice to listen to. But I didnt agree with some of your points and just stopped before finishing.
Im not trying to down on your dreams, just keep in mind that different media has different expectations. You wanna converse opinions and theories here, you'll need to write it. Your post wouldve been better if you wrote it out and THEN posted a link as a backup.
