Ryan Reynolds completely miscast...

Unless they were going for the pretty boy, yuppy musician type--yeah, I could totally see that....huh? And I also didn't buy him as the maintenance guy in his designer shirts, perfect hair, not a trace of grease or dirt or whatnot. And he sort of didn't fit the 80's vibe they were going for in this film either. But then again, apart from the music, nothing in this movie felt authentic to the 80's. I should know, I lived through it.

Who would have been better, do you think? I thought he was great, and I don't usually like his acting all that much.

I thought he was well cast and I think Reynolds did his typical good job. That stated I don't think it was a good role for RR. He's played this character many times before. Too many times.
