WTF is the deal with a rattlesnake

I just don't understand why films are not checked by a competent person who will point out stupid errors like this one. I find it hard to believe that nobody involved with the film knew that Rattlesnakes aren't found in asia. Really hate dumb mistakes

Yes, that really got me, too. It's a modern equivalent of the medieval artists showing Julius Caesar armored up like a 15th century knight instead of dressed like a Roman.
