Plot holes galore make this flick almost laughable
Just watched this mess and the holes in this "based on actual events" story are comical.
1 - Megan is introduced to "Josh" by a friend who sends one grainy picture to her, then one way video chats with him several times because his brother broke his cam, no wait his dog ate it ? Why not ask the creep to video chat via cell like Amy & Megan did the whole movie? lmao !
2 - Once Megan goes missing, Amy informs the cops she was chatting online for days with Josh, but they can't trace his IP from their online sessions ? Law enforcement throughout this flick were portrayed to be complete morons.
3 - 13 & 14 yo's boozing and drugging was hilarious, and Amy hurling into the girls hair while standing over the two lesbians made me LOL !
4 - Amy continues to one way video chat with "Josh" even after Megan has been abducted for weeks and she revealed him to the cops? Couldn't she ask why "Josh" hasn't replaced his webcam yet ? Oh then he calls her a fatass loser, so she decides to go hang in a secluded park alone even though she knows he'll be after her next ?
5 - The final 22 min of "more actual events " complete with random shock value photos is the finale for the sick perv directors fantasies. The original intent to warn teens of predatory freaks on the internet could have been done without such blatant attempts to "shock & awe"
Sorry, not sorry ... this was a failed attempt by this hack director to even come close to telling a believable story, even while using loosely based facts.
