Why wasn't Nicholas Hammond in this?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're not a real Spider-man fan.

Yes I used to watch that. Had one of the von Trapp children.

Studios figure not enough fans would get the reference from an obscure short lived show from 25 years ago.Would have been cool if he popped up as a retired old man version of peter.

reply

reply

Your right.I did the math wrong.45 years ago.I caught reruns years ago on the sci-fi channel back when they would air classic obscure old shows.

reply

Man I wish. I'd feel a lot younger knowing it was only 25 years ago that I watched that show!

reply

I wondered if he had a cameo too.

But there was no way that he was getting a main part. There's no point. The youngsters wouldn't know who he was, and he'd probably be too old to pull it off.

Having a small appearance or cameo for a joke, like Lou Ferrigno did in Incredible Hulk movies would be cool, but no need for anything more than that.

reply

that show was a pretty big deal to the young damosuzuki1.

reply

Never heard of this show, just saw the trailer, yelled with laughter at how CRINGE it was!!

reply

And YOU'RE not a true Spider-Man fan for liking such a lame TV show.

reply

Also they should have used SpiderMan from those short skits on The Electric Company as well. That version of Spiderman is still my favorite. Very disappointing he was never used

reply

Apparently there was a plan to give him a cameo but it was cut before it was filmed due to timing. Hammond who is semi retired and living in Australia says he was never approached.
