hiding her Jamaican accent. Why would she hide that ?! Everyone with ears and can hear, can detect the accent.

When Jamaicans are around Jamaicans they speak patwa. Web they are around their employers they don't. It's not that she's hiding, other races can't understand patwa and she's wants to be understood.
