If you look it up, they are roughly the same age as Bill and Ted.

they're 10+ years younger, which wouldn't align with the timeline from the 1st two films

maybe they broke up with the princesses so they returned to the middle ages and ten years later Bill & Ted changed their minds and picked them up just after they returned to the middle ages so they aged ten years while the princesses stayed the same age
