To seemed like a paycheck for Daniels and Carrey, their hearts weren't there like in 94

That's the key. Fury Road & Creed worked because the people involved seemed to give a crap. If it's just people hanging out & reminiscing, it's an Adam Sandler comedy.

I also liked Queen & Country.

Been meaning to watch Texasville but can't find it.
