I saw this guy on YouTube who reviewed this movie and he said it was a great film, almost a 8/10.

The guy wasn't a young kid. He was about 50 years old so I thought if a guy that age thinks it's good then it must be. Least it won't be some trashy teen horror movie.

How wrong I was. The first 20 minutes are intruiging and it could have developed into a really good film. But it seems the writer and director just ran out of ideas and by about 45 minutes in, the second half you could have written on the back of a postage stamp. None of it made sense and there was no explanation or proper conclusion. It was as if everyone just gave up on it and wanted to go home.

A very poor film, 2/10.

I'm close to that age myself, and some of do enjoy trashy horror movies, actually. We grew up on them after all.

Microbes from the ocean that infect the water supply and air -- presumably from space originally à la "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1978) -- which morph into worm-like creatures and take-over the person in a hideous way.
