Ending = Blair Witch project + silence of the lambs + clover field

This movie started out great, but then gradually deteriorated. The ending was just plain dumb. And that silly woman's constant screaming made me want to feed her to one of the infected people just to shut her up.

Completely agree. After about 15 minutes of the only person on camera reduced to a constantly screaming shivering shamble it got ridiculous. As a species we are not physically or psychologically built to have such ludicrously long bouts of panic. At some point people either become collected, entirely in shock, or just completely flight mode, instead she lingered in a Blair Witch state until conveniently when being quiet was necessary she was able to shut up. It was also kind of funny and a bit lame how everyone else immediately became rabid and were all attacking constantly in order like a video game.

But the very ending was the dumbest part. They'd smashed through the entire apartment's compliment of rabid people and one stumbling skinny creature was both their downfalls? Why not just bash it over the head immediately on sight. I mean the whole "Something hit the camera" and then just standing there like an idiot for five more minutes made no sense.

Otherwise I liked this film, it was pretty intense. The only other problem I had with it was it set the record for people taking forever to realize they are in a dangerous situation. It was like 70% through the film with half the people dead and all showing the most obvious indications of viral infection in history before people even began to think they should approach things with more caution, and even then the next few guys to go all managed to literally stick their necks out and turn their heads away from the rabid people to be bit immediately.

Bear in mind that it was night vision, so Angela never saw the skinny creature until it was too late, by which point she was all alone.

But you can't compare this to Silence of the Lambs. Angela didn't have a weapon, and she couldn't have grabbed one in the darkness.
