Shouldnt you find a weapon? instead of bashing them with your camera

Bashing crazy people with a camera makes it a weapon.

Man didn't one of the CDC guys bring a *beep* assault rifle inside. They could have teamed up to grab that then killed pretty much all the infected.

SCOTT was never going to stop filming. He couldn't have used a weapon with the camera in his hands. Besides, he didn't have time to think, just to act. The way he repeatedly hits the infected one with the camera indicated that he was panicking.
