None of the things you listed have anything to do with the classic society definition of white trash. There are a lot of high class people that are overweight and a lot of upper-middle class suburban parents who have probably made the mistake of not watching their kids close enough while taking them to a department store. As for Applebee's and Red Lobster if you're referring to the classic white trash family (which I don't like that nomer actually) they are usually portrayed as being too poor to afford going to Applebee's or Red Lobster. If this is your idea of white trash families I would hate to be there if you ever actually meet any that society would actually deem to be white trash.

Yes, as we all know, people of wealth are never fat, nor would their small children ever do anything socially unacceptable in a store.

Do you even know what white trash means? Because the things you listed seems to suggest you don't.

White trash is an attitude. It is a mind-set. One can be poor and have class, or have millions of dollars and behave poorly. Calling any human "trash" is not exactly kind.

believe it or not, most of america is rural or suburban. they don't have the dining luxuries or options that one has in bigger cities. & comparing a 20 yr old (a lot of college kids are in this same line of work while in school) that works at a red lobster, to a family, or guys into sports, going to applebees, is also a little bit of a stretch, & not really indicative of classism, it would be more of a comparison of age or purpose, as pretty well expressed in the movie. your post reeks of inexperience & extreme immature smugness.
