This book is so wonderful, it makes me hate the directum for changing everything. Seriously, if you can't understand the message of the book, do not do the movie. Ugh!

I totally agree with you. The book was not just about a sick girl. The book was about a family with a sick girl. The movie didn't even touch on the family dynamics like the book. They made the movie all about Kate, and I was so mad at the end.

I was disappointed in the movie. I loved the book.
