it says he was promised 36% of the total gross of this movie instead of a salary... it made 225 million dollars. he made close to 80 million on this turd, thats like 4 times as much as he made on any other movie no wonder he signed on for this. i dont blame him for doing it for the money he is almost 50 now i mean hes only made a few hundred million gotta play it safe for retirement...

No, he did not get 36% of the gross. He got 36% of the gross AFTER it recouped its production costs.
Production costs were about 70m and marketing costs, I'd wager were probably 30-50m... so he got 36% of about 100m. Which means he got somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-40m.
Still a pretty fantastic payday, though.
