Rated higher than Liar Liar?!

What is wrong with IMDB users? Liar Liar was a hilarious classic showcasing Carrey's best work!

Yes Liar, Liar had me crying with laughter, although I think Ace Ventura: Pet Detective would be his best as in being the funniest. I still love Liar, Liar the best because it was a lot more subtle with the comedy, whereas, Ace Ventura it was more obvious when trying to be funny. I thought Yes Man was good and funny but not the best by a long shot. The best part in Yes Man was the Harry Potter party, now that made my stomach hurt with laughter.

I thought liar liar had some classic scenes but overall the story was far to cheesy for my liking. Yes Man was much better overall.

On yes man he seemed like he was just going with the flow and seemed more relaxed, where as in Liar Liar he went over the top, but it was funny watching him build up towards it. I can't choose between both of these films....

Interesting that you mentioned Liar Liar, because Yes Man reminds me of it so much. In one he can't say no, in the other he can't lie, others take advantage of him once they find out he can't do those things, etc. But Ace Ventura is better than both because it follows the Seinfeld rule - no hugging, no learning - and just sticks to comedy from start to finish.

Yes Man was much better. For starters, it didn't have an annoying little boy who can somehow make magical wishes to make his dad not be able to lie.

The thing with 'Liar Liar' that I've realized over the years is that every character is unfunny except for Fletcher and Greta. Oh, and the mechanic that scratches his car. Other than them, the rest are totally obnoxious.

I still think it's funnier but the characters in 'Yes Man' are maybe a tad more endearing overall.

This was better than Liar liar.

I wouldn't call it his best work but it was certainly way better than Yes Man. I was pretty disappointed with this one. I don't get people.
