I know this is just a movie but...

I'm a "No Man" in real life and looking back I see how it's severely harmed my life in many way. I won't be saying yes to everything (i.e. drugs/giving away money) but I will be saying yes to every social invite. I need to get out there. The beginning of the movie was horribly depressing because I felt like I was looking at myself. Luckily I'm much younger than his character so I've got plenty of time to fix it, starting now.

Same with me.

Wow, good for you my man. Good for you!

So, how has life been since you became a yes man?

reply

What about yours?
I can relate to the main character and would like to know how is it going for everyone who decided to change.

My life is pretty crazy so I dont really fall under the No-Man category. And you? Have you become a yes-man? ☺

reply

I did think similarly a few years back and says yes to most invites and favors. I don't feel like my life is too different now, but on the plus side I have way more friends and social things to do.

I need to see the beginning of this movie. Only watched the last half. I thought he was just supposed to give everyone a loan approval, lol, or let everyone borrow his phone. Still not sure why he had to say yes to everything. What a fun DARE, lol!

About 15 years ago, I became a Yes Man in my own right by venturing out and experiencing what the world around me has to offer. It has worked rather well for me, I'd say :D
