Who's read the book?

Has anybody read the BOOK of "Yes Man"? While I applaud the manic style of Jim Carrey, the book is completely different. The author is British, and the humor is more deadpan and I guess decidedly more "British" in nature. He's a great writer. I envisioned Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as the two best friends while reading it. Interesting, if they'd stuck more to the source, it could have been a completely different movie.

I read the book. You're absolutely right, much more different from the movie, but they're both good in their own way. Think of it as comparing the UK "Office" to the US "Office". They're both fu my but in their own way.

Hahaha, you're right, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost would've been perfect if they kept to the original British source. But I'm a huge Jim Carrey fan and this movie will always stand as one of my favorites.

I like the movie so much, I finally got to read the book as well last year.

It was a great book, yet quite different... they pretty much only kept the name and the "si a todo" idea.
