Language?
Is this movie in French? Call me an idiot ...
shareOui, en Francaise
shareI saw this movie last night at the cinema. Apart from the obvious lines in English, I am sure I heard KST utter one phrase in English earlier in the film, almost under her breath. But, I'd have to see the film again to verify... Just curious - wonder if anyone else noticed, or it was my mistake?
sharehi, imdb-20647, can you tell me which scene you think kst utter the english phrase?
shareDoes anyone know whether English Subtitles are avaliable (on the dvd?)?

Please give me a straightforward answer with no sarcasm. I am over 60 and have sight issues which makes reading subtitles sometimes difficult, because I am also a slow reader. So please tell me: is this film all in French with subtitles? I would have understood the answer in this thread, but the sarcasm confused me.
shareI wish that the US DVD also had the FRENCH subtitles. I am a decent French speaker (and better at reading and listening); but sometimes I can't keep up and like to READ the French if possible; but the DVD didn't have them. Just English. I also like to learn French better and having the written French to match up to the dialogue helps (although I know the subtitles are pretty poor sometimes).
One other thing. When the first French 'parole' officer said 'soir' for night, it had a very odd accent I thought. Not a Parisian one for sure? It almost came out sounding like 'sweahr.'
Hi there. Sorry, not sure really... Around the middle of the film, may be Juliette's first interview with the Welfare Officer.
