Well acted and thought out film...
Kristen Scott Thomas's best performance, I wondered if she would survive Under the Cherry Moon in 1986 but she has prevailed over the years.
The story unfolds as a mystery giving us little bits of the puzzle as the movie itself unfolds. The ending was hardly shocking-you can figure it out early on-it was the execution of the characters that was the heart of this story.
Long at some points but never dull. You keep asking yourself why did she do this or did not do that but if you think about it, it was exactly what she wanted-she felt she deserved it and nothing else mattered.
