If you don't like the remake which I do more than the original. Is the writer himself Dean Pitchford. The guy who wrote the original also co-wrote the screenplay for the remake. So yeah blame him for helping to destroy his own creation. Oh well If Star Wars fans can complain to George Lucas for the prequels and Indiana Jones fans can also complain to George Lucas for The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I guess anything is possible.

Um, it wasn't so much the writing in the one that I hated (except cutting out one of my favorite scenes), it was the acting. Far more passion from the original actors than these. They were too flat
