In the movie redneck Chuck proclaims to Ren, "I thought only fags were into gymnasts." Brilliantly, Ren responds by saying, "I thought only *beep* used the word f a g". Ain't that the truth. Why is it still OK to use the word f a g or f aggot when the N word is totally off limits in the same context? The words are equally abhorring.

(And for the folks who don't think he seems to
be from Boston, he's actually from that area, as
am I. He sounds like someone from Stoughton, which
is near Boston and the Rhode Island border. I'm
surprised he has been in a TV series named
"Massholes", that word being a term I have never
heard in my entire life until I heard it in
the NPR series This American Life just a few years
back ... I'm surprised that it's supposed to be
acceptable as a series title.)
I think the writer's intention was that having Ren call the guy an assh@le for saying it, it showed that viewer that Ren didn't tolerate the use of the word and that the guy using it in a defamatory way was an ignorant bigot.
