very welcome.

The review helped me to decide if I want to watch it or not. I do not care for Kate Mara, I find her to be very wooden and boring to watch but I think I will give this a shot anyway :)

It’s ok so far I think Nick Robertson acts better than Kate.

First off, I like to say thank you to the OP for the link to the review. I think Kate Mara is doing a good job. I have seen three episodes so far. I am enjoying the show. Shane Harper playing a high school senior is miscast.

I want to do something crazy for a part - something I'd never even consider in real life.

I like her in this so far. I wasn't a fan of Nick Robinson until I started watching Love, Victor so I have to say so far they're both doing great!

I agree with you about Shane. He looks old enough to play a PE teacher, lol.

He's awesome in Love, Victor :)

A boring series with bland characters. Even the sexual situations are a chore to get through. The student has nothing that should attract the teacher. He is not good looking or interesting and, despite his high SAT scores, he comes across as the typical high school kid without any intelligence. The teacher is cursed with having a decent husband, the poor thing. Not surprisingly, he is the only one who acts with any semblance of maturity. It doesn't help when Kate Mara hits basically the same acting note throughout, instantly unlikable. She understands what would happen if her affair were revealed publicly and yet she stupidly admits the affair to another teacher. As if she just had to confide in someone or she would burst. Like a lovesick schoolgirl.
Apparently, the series will move several years into the future so we can see the repercussions of her actions. That might prove interesting. So far, though, this is about as boring as tv gets.
