They way they were hinting at it in the final trailers, TV spots. and rumours on 'X' etc
But if The Flash bombed with Keaton Batman (in a major role) all bets are off!

Its like there's been a generational shift the past year ..the older gen who used to come out in force for this stuff finally gave up (just leaving the hard core fans), and the new gen are like 'who cares about this old stuff my dad liked'
That probably gets closer to the heart of the matter than other more 'imaginative' explanations.
shareUgh! I'd rather they reboot X-Men. The Fox movies screwed up Rogue, Cyclops, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, and Juggernaut. Rather have a new take on the characters than never have those characters done justice.

I didn't get the impression that Monica is in the FoxVerse anyway...yes it was Kelsey Grammer, but he didn't look like he did in X3. Also, where was Binary in any Fox X-Men movie?
I don't even know who Binary is. Only read Uncanny X-Men comics up to 1984. And the original Age of Apocalypse but that's an alternate universe.
