I think it would have worked better if the story concepts in Halloween Ends and Halloween were swapped There would have to be a bunch of tweeks to make it work, but just the overall concepts.

It should have gone Ends, 2018, Kills. A copycat "evil" infected person being the result of the actual boogeyman escaping would have been good. The problem is everyone would bitch that Michael didn't have enough screen time and a sequel would never get made. I think Kills' ending would be an awesome way to end the Myers story because it leaves him unexplained and he wins which never happens in these films.
