Worse than Resurrection?

That seems to be a debate for some, some say its absolutely nowhere near as bad as Resurrection and others say the opposite.

Imo its worse, i mean both movies try and do something new and different and both fail, but the difference is Michael is actually in Resurrection. In Resurrection we don't see Michael having psychic powers and seeing into someones past, we don't see Evil spreading like a virus in town, we don't see Michael having an accomplice teaming up with him, we don't see Michael having an orgasm after killing someone. Laurie aint making pies in Resurrection, shes not decorating for Halloween and doing shit her character would never do.

Yes Buster Rhymes kung fu's Michael, but imo Corey wrestling Michael down to the ground and taking his mask is 10x worse, least Buster Rhymes is a pretty built dude who looks like he could kick someone Michael's size ass, but this nerdy loser kicks Michael's ass? way worse.

Plus Resurrection is alot shorter and easier to get through, we don't go 40 minutes straight with nothing happening and no sign of Michael. Laurie may die quick in Resurrection but shes more true to her character in that than she is in all of Halloween Ends.

I literally watched both these films back to back last week. Anyone who says Resurrection is worse than Ends is probably speaking from memory. That's what some people do. They watch a film then for the next decade their opinion is set in stone and they don't ever rewatch it and over time people trend towards echoing the common consensus. I myself was guilty of this, I would have shit on Resurrection last week having not seen it in 15 or so years but upon a rewatch it's actually alright and quite inoffensive.

That's what people are doing, trust me. Not everyone rewatches films regularly, let alone ones poorly received like Halloween Resurrection. Anyone who says Ends is better than Resurrection needs to state how long it's been since they watched Resurrection.

Ends is the worst in the franchise by a considreable margin (I've watched all the Halloween films in the past year bar RZ Halloween II) and anyone who says otherwise is someone who I just can't take seriously.

Yeah i think you're right, cause going back and watching Resurrection after seeing this turd makes it look a whole lot better and really shows you it wasn't that bad, and absolutely told me Resurrection is a better movie than Ends. It wasn't a great movie by any means but its a short and simple story with Michael killing people, which that alone make it superior than Ends.

Baffles me Ends actually has fans, the trailers literally lied and lured you into a movie you didn't go to see, you went to see Michael vs Laurie in the conclusion to the trilogy and you got the Corey Cunningham story with a cameo by Michael. I swear theres always a portion of people who will like anything it amazes me.
